Grace in the Winds by Emily Jeffords

Emily Jeffords is an impressionistic landscape painter who works with oil on canvas. I discovered her on Pinterest (where else) and am totally in love with her paintings. I find her work to be optimistic and overall just totally lovely. She has a great website with a video that describes her process and intention that I highly recommend (watch it here). Otomi fabric is a hand embroided textile named for the people who first crafted them - the Otomi indians. The vibrant designs are thought to be inspired by primitive illustrations painted onto rock faces and often depict animals in a mirrored pattern. I love them for their color and the sense of movement inherent in their design. Happy Monday!
