holiday card displays

Emily Oster

We are in the final countdown till Christmas and while two days of works, errands and to dos still stand between us and vacation, we are definitely in the holiday spirit. One thing that has really contributed to our festive mood has been holiday cards. This year we have gotten far more cards than we have ever gotten before and it has been really fun to see and hear from friends and family during this holiday season. I created a display for our cards by just draping some simple ribbon around the window in our kitchen and then attaching the cards with close pins. It looks like this.

Simple, easy to do and makes for instant decoration. I also really like these displays.

I think what attracts me to Danna Ray's work is its simplicity and her use of perspective. Things are ever so slightly off kilter making me take a closer look.

Ray paints and lives in North Carolina. Her work is available on Etsy and is super reasonably priced! Have a great weekend everyone!
