artist feature: jeanne opgenhaffen
Emily Oster
Belgian artist, Jeanne Opgenhaffen, uses porcelain tiles as her medium. Overlapping thousands of delicate fragments, she creates large murals inspired by geological strata and the natural landscape. Employing varying shade and tone and overlapping the tiles in such a way, her pieces convey a sense of movement and space.
I am in love with her work and I am sure it is exponential more stunning in person. Here are a few of my favorites.
