indigo flatweave rugs
Emily Oster
Finding a good rug can be really difficult. They are often expensive, seem to appear in dated color ways more often than not and easily shed or fall apart if you are buying a more affordable one. That is why I stick with flatweave rugs sometimes called dhurries or kilims. They have a more modern look and are also low maintenance in that they don't shed. Flatweaves also tend to be on average less expensive than wool. Here are a few blue/indigo rugs that I am currently coveting.
1. Curacao rug, island blue by Lulu & Georgia 2. Indigo Rail Cotton Dhurrie by West Elm 3. MIAC Dragonfly Wool Dhurrie by West Elm 4. Dalton Stripped Flatweave Rug by RH baby & child 5. Indigo Geo Cotton Dhurrie by West Elm 6. Zeno Rug, Deep Navy by Lulu & Georgia
