Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina Geoffrey Johnson's work largely depicts the urban landscape. His fascination with the human figure contrasted against city architecture has become the central content of his paintings. I love his work for its abstract quality and the way it draws you into the scene revealing something new with each view. Here are a few of my favorites.
