Grace in the Winds by Emily Jeffords

Emily Jeffords is an impressionistic landscape painter who works with oil on canvas. I discovered her on Pinterest (where else) and am totally in love with her paintings. I find her work to be optimistic and overall just totally lovely. She has a great website with a video that describes her process and intention that I highly recommend (watch it here). Slim Aarons was an American photographer who was known for shooting celebrities, socialites and the wealthy. He began his career working as a military photographer at West Point and later went on to become a combat photographer in WWII. Aarons never used a make up artist or stylist but rather described his work this way - "photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places". Below are a few favorites.
