I am counting down the days or maybe hours until we are in northern Michigan for the holidays. There will be feet of snow (yes feet - last I heard about around 2' with more expected), skiing, fires and lots of delicious food. My family has spent the last 10 years celebrating Christmas and the New Year in the Harbor Springs area and with each year I gain a new appreciation for the place and my family's tradition. This will be Jeff's first official Christmas with us which will make it even that much more special. So in honor of all these warm and fuzzy feelings I am having for our trip north in T-minus four days I wanted to share some amazing examples of wintery cabins. These modern takes on the cabin aesthetic take all the great qualities of cabins - intimate and warm cozy spaces and updates them to consider today's lifestyles. I feel cozy just looking at them!
