And we are back! I was pleasantly surprised to find that our AT&T services were functioning again this morning. Its nice to be forced to be unplugged but honestly I have things to do! Anyways, today I am featuring the amazing photographer Jeffrey Milstein. Milstein is most well known for his photos of aircraft but also has done some other really beautiful work (head to his website to see his photographs of the streets of Cuba in particular). In doing a bit of research, I discovered that Milstein was an architect and then a graphic designer before choosing to focus on his passion of flying and photography. A trained pilot since 17, Milstein explains his aircraft work by stating "these photographs open up conversations about the complexity and beauty of modern technology. They are an attempt to share my sense of wonder" (Milstein's website). Personally, I love how the simplicity of the aircraft photographs expose the beauty of an airplane making me see and appreciate them in a completely new way. Milstein's book AirCraft is available for sale on Amazon. Below are a few of my favorites.
